Paul Erdos (1913-1996) was the most prolific mathematician of the 20th century. He set out on a wandering journey, collaborated with mathematicians from all over the world and continued to write papers until his final years. The signal for the start of the study was when he appeared on the doorstep of his colleague’s house and said “My Brain is Open”.

We can’t travel all the time like he did. But for a few weeks a year we can do as he did. KAGANHOTEL from Kyoto can create a creative community where people can eat, sleep and meet other people from different fields (like his colleagues).

 

 

 

What is WANDER passport?

WANDER passport is a passport for participation in the KAGANHOTEL stay community, which will start in 2021. Four types of passports will be issued depending on the room grade and the number of nights, and will be available from mid-January each year.

 

WANDER passport Three features

①Good value plan, easy to stay for a week or a month

Half of the rooms of KAGAN hotel will be opened up for WANDER passport community, offering rooms at a price that would not be possible with normal room bookings. Therefore, the number of passports sold is limited.

※Monthly and weekly stays are only available with the purchase of WANDER passport.
※The passport price does not include the accommodation tax (200 yen/night). It must be paid separately at the time of check-in.
※If you stay during the special period, you will have to pay an additional accommodation fee.Please check the terms and conditions.

②Multiple check-in options

The number of check-ins is indicated on the passport, so that the stay can be divided into several stays, whether it is a monthly stay, or several one- or two-week stays, depending on the needs of the participant.

※If you wish to check-in more than the number of times indicated on the passport, you will be charged an additional fee of 3,500 yen (excluding tax) for the FOUR passport and 5,000 yen (excluding tax) for the FIVE passport.

③Can be used by the non-purchaser

This passport can be used by anyone who is not the original purchaser. They can be given as a gift or shared within a company or other organization.

Furthermore, a single passport can be used to accommodate more than one person at the same time, subject to the number of nights remaining and the number of check-ins.
※There is no limit to the number of people who can buy and sell passports.

ABOUT KAGANHOTEL

KAGANHOTEL is an art hotel born in Kyoto in 2019. It is a co-living space for creative and young artists to live and work. General people can stay from one night.
